WORLD AIR GAMES CHAMPIONSHIP 2001 CONTROL LINE F2A, B, C, AND D BULLETIN 1 Official invitation: The Real Federación Aeronáutica Española (FAE) is pleased to invite teams from all national control air clubs affiliated to the Federation Aeronautique International (FAI) to participate in the 2001 II World Air Games F2 Championship Junior and Senior to be held in Seville, Spain. Organization: By appointment of the Federation Aeronautique International, the Championship will be organized by the Real Federación Aeronáutica Española (FAE) and the 2001 ECO (España Comité Organizador). Participation: It has been determined by the Plenary of the C I A M that World Air Games will take precedence over any World or Continental Championship which occurs in the same year. In the case of World Air Games 2001 Control Line, the European Championship 2001 will not take place, all titles and trophies will be for World Air Games. The status of the Games will be identical to World Championship in respect of participation., team selection, subventions, etc and is open to all N A C members of F A I. The rules to be applied will be those of Section 4b of the F A I Sporting Code concerning World Championships. Trophies: Competitors will be awarded trophies to the World Air Games individual champion and World Air Games team champion in F2 classes. Location and dates: The F2A, F2B and F2C events will be held at the Parking lot of the 1992 Expo Site airport, near to Seville´s city centre. The F2D Combat event will be at the Instalación Deportiva Isla de la Cartuja Rugby Field near to the Parking lot and facing the Olympic Stadium. Arrival will be 22 June, Opening Ceremony in the Olympic Stadium 23 June and the competition proper will take place from 24 June through 30 June. The Closing Ceremony will take place in Jerez on 01 July, with departure on 02 July. Event: The event will be a World Air Games F2 Championship in A, B, C and D, Junior and Senior. Rules: The event will be run according to the 2001 FAI Sporting Code Section 4 Aeromodelling. Judges and jury: Judges and jury will be selected from the official FAI list. The selection will be published in Bulletin No. 2 Official languages: The official language in the event will be English and Spanish. Fees: There is only one possibility of fees for all participants: Complete entry fee for competitors, team managers, official helpers, supporters, and accompanying persons including inscription fee, 10 nights in a 3 star hotel, 10 breakfasts, 10 lunches, 10 dinners, transportation and assistance to the Opening and Closing Ceremony plus banquet.......................................................750 Euros Preliminary entry: Preliminary entry form must be sent back no later than 28 February 2001. Official entry: The Official Entry Form will be mailed together with Bulletin No. 2 and will be send to those National Aero Clubs from which the organizer has received the Preliminary Entry Form. The Official Entry Form must be completed and submitted and the Entry Fee paid to the Real Federación Aeronáutica Española NO LATER THAN MARCH 31st 2001 Entries received after this date may be accepted if there are vacancies under the following conditions: Entry Fees paid between April 1st and April 30th 2001 ..10% surcharge Entry Fees paid between May 1st and May 31st 2001 ....15% surcharge Entry Fees paid after June 1st 2001 .................25% surcharge Other requirements: Each NAC is responsible for providing the organizer with 3 flags (150x100 cm) and 1 nattional anthem in CD format for the site prior to the official deadline, 31 March 2001.
